Games are sometimes played purely for enjoyment, sometimes for achievement or rewards as well. They can be played alone, In teams, or online, By amateurs or by  professionals.  On the other hand, players in a game may constitues their own audience as they take their turnrms to play. Often,  part of the entertainment for children playing a game is deciding who is a part of their audience and who is a player.


Video game is a very popular leisure activity among adults. A video game is any software program that can be played on the computing device, such as a personal computer, gaming console or mobile phones. Video games are age and gender friendly, very popular but like other pleasurable endeavours, can have adverse consequences, which are reviewed.

Gaming Disorder...
Gaming disorder has the  same similarities with Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD)  which is a condition that the American Psychiatric Association (APN) ordered in DSM-5 as an area in need of additional study.


Symptoms in Gaming Disorder

A person with gaming disorder will demonstrate the following characteristics for at least 12 months; problems controlling the gaming habits, seeing gaming as more important over other necessities and daily activities or work, or continuing to engage in gaming even after its negative health and social problems has been identified or are evident. Furthur research shows that gaming disorder tcan also be linked with anxiety, depression, obesity, sleeping disorder, and stress.

PUBG and  Free Fire Mobile gaming is a free of cost, accesible to almost anyone, and does not require any prerequisite skill to start playing.


Situation in India
There are around 120 million PUBG and Free Fire users in India, and the game is one of the top 5 downloads of all time.  Things took a turn at the beginning of April when a class 10th students from Telangana committed suicide when his parents ask him to study instead of Playing PUBG.
Tik Tok, an app which allows you to create a short videos, was recently banned by the Indian government. PUBG is currently banned in Iraq and Nepal because of their negative effect of the population. PUBG is an online multiplayer battle royale game that has gained immense popularity. However, there are some gamers who are even addicted to this game which is why it has been become a major concern for many.

PUBG and Free Fire is a fabulous games but getting addicted to it can be rise  to certain mental and Physical health issues that you, yourself, may not be aware of.
Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara have already banned PUBG in their jurisdictions. Since the PUBG ban come into effect,more than 15 FIR have been filed. A few players have even been arrested and then released on bail.
The real issue here should not be not the game itself, but the addictive behaviour and the child mental well being.

Online games like PUBG and Free Fire have become a quite popular amongst smartphone users in India, especially youngsters. Most young peoples are wasting precious time on these silly games. This is bound to hamper their education. Evidently, parents do not have enough time to monitor the activities of their children. Parents should pay closer attention to what youngsters are doing with their time and their phone. Time  should be devoted to studies and other physical activities that will benefit children instead of playing games that preach violence. 

Negative Effect...
1. It is extremely violent
PUBG has been under scrutiny for being a voilent game. Excessive violence can trigger aggressive thoughts, emotions and behaviour that ultimately affect the mental health of the player.
2. It leads to gaming addiction
Playing too much PUBG and Free Fire can make you less productive. Video games addiction is not a new thing but you should know that this is not good for one's mental health.
3. It promotes bad physical health
Just sitting around in one place and playing for long hours is not good for your Physical health. Once tends to become lazy. Also staring at your computer screen for long hours can affect your eyesight and gives you headache.
4. It affects your mental health.
Those who are addicted to playing PUBG and Free Fire can easily stressed out or face anxiety issues in public due to lack of social interaction.
5. There is no time to do anything else.
PUBG and Free Fire  can take up to an hour to complete.Even if you playing 5 matches a day, it means that you be will wasting about 4 to 5 hours every day doing nothing productive.
